Ray and I have now found a place to live. Yay! No more crappy hotel that wouldn't allow bikes, etc. We are in the suburb of London called Banstead which is in Surrey. It's about an hour or so to work by train, and it is going to take a LOT of time to get used to, but it is pretty cool, anyway.

Yesterday, however, was not cool... I missed one train and a bunch of other trains were cancelled and I got lost on the buses and it really sucked. It would be a very long post to convey all that, and it's not really important, so to distaill it all down: Public transportation sucks. I am an American and I want my car. :-)

Yay! It was a crappy, overcrowded flight, and I got no sleep. But everything else has gone right since then!

I am adding this note here at work because it's £3/30 mins or £5 for 2 hours at the hotel for internet access. Besides, I am trying to upgrade notes right now, so it takes a bit of time...

Anyway - I will add a real update later.

We are scrambing to get all of the last little things done. We have movers coming this week, and we've got to pack up a pair of bikes to take with us on the plane.

That will be wonderfully fun! I can just imagine trying to manage two oversized bike boxes with three suitcases and navigate from the airport to the hotel like that.

So many things to do between now and the 17th.
