Wind and stuff...
So, we had a spot of bad weather yesterday that caused pretty much all the trains to not run. Which meant that I had to ride a bunch of buses from Wandsworth to Banstead. It wouldn't have been too bad, except that a lot of streets were blocked or flooded or whatever, so the buses couldn't necessarily take the best routes. This was further complicated when the S1 bus from Sutton to Banstead disappeared. I have no idea what happened, but the S1 going the opposite direction stopped 3 times before a bus going to Banstead showed up. Which meant waiting at least an hour, maybe more, for the bus to show up. Not fun.
On the other hand, at least I feel comfortable in the concept that I can get home if I need to when no trains are running. That doesn't sound like much, but, trust me, it is.
